A "wiki" - which is derived from the Hawaiian word "fast" - is a collaborative website that allows anyone who has access to contribute or modify content. The Wiki Law Project (Philippines) is intended to be driven by its members, principally the members of phBar.org (Bar Exams Forum). This project should contain helpful information about Philippine laws and legal system -- always subject, of course, to the Wiki Law Project (Philippines):General disclaimer.

The Wiki Law Project (Philippines) is a component of phbar.org (Bar Exams Forum - Philippines). It is a pilot project to test the possibility of a collaborative database on Philippine laws and legal system. There are a number of helpful legal resources online, a fact which makes the work on this project less difficult. The challenge is to sift through these legal information and create a reader-friendly database.

This site has just started and is far from complete, although you could now read some entries (see Special:Allpages). This may take a while because this project is supported entirely by volunteers, without funding, so please bear with us. To start posting, see Help:Contents.

In the meantime, you could proceed to join the discussions at the Bar Exams Forum. The Bar Exams Forum is not an official forum. It is a community where bar examinees and students of law can share and discuss matters relating to the bar exams and other issues under the legal sun. The phrase "students of law" is used broadly, encompassing individuals who are interested in the law, not just law students.

Sharing is good karma. Tips and suggestions on how to slay the bar exam dragon are freely shared in the the Bar Exams Forum. Legal issues and information are also discussed (no legal advice). More than a venue on discussing legal matters, the Bar Exams Forum is also a place where students of law from the 7,107 islands of the Philippines, as well as those abroad, could get to know each other.
